Infinite Doors.

Learn so much, and do so much, that as an output of your learning and reiterating, you have the opportunity to get lucky.

The world is not fair - however there are certain things we all have equally. We may not have the same gifts, opportunities, etc. - and those certainly play a big role in success. But you can either use that as an excuse or use it as fuel to do big things.

We all have the same 24 hours in the day. We all share in our humanity - we may not all live the same amount of time but we share in our impermanent lives. We all share in our ability, if we choose, to give something wonderful to the world - even if that path looks different for everybody, there's a beauty in that - in our uniqueness.

So, yes, there is luck involved in many stories, but instead of taking that as if everyone else gets lucky and they have such unfair advantages, we can take it as - what if we can get lucky? Not win-the-lottery lucky, but learning things so valuable that when opportunity arises we are put in a position to win off of the uncontrollables: of good timing, being in the right room, or finding a trend early.

You still need to be ready when a door opens - and the good part is that there are an infinite amount of doors. If one door has an unbreakable lock on it, there is more than likely a similar door that we can go through with a slight redefinition of what we do. Through that door will be many more doors - maybe they'll be even more exciting than the original door you wanted to go through. We don't know when these doors will come or what they will be, but there are doors right now that we can walk through and make the most of.

We can all put an input into something we want to learn. We all have the same hours in the day - the difference, of course, is how we use them. Looking at our day: if we are not learning and doing, then we might just be missing out on what's most important to us - the missions we want to do, the things we want to accomplish.

We don't need another someone else. The great people we admire already filled their own spots - and another them is not what the world was missing. What's missing is the thing only you could make. The world isn't short on things to make an impact on - in fact there are so many. It's short on you.
